Students that register for Summer Discovery must also register with the YMCA in order to participate.
All camps will be housed at Elmwood Elementary School, located at 22700 California Street, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080, and will run from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Camp Information
Location: Elmwood Elementary School - 22700 California Street, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080
Program Dates: July 6, 2026 - August 7, 2026, Monday - Friday
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Waitlist Offerings:
- KinderConnect - Students entering Kindergarten
- First Fundamentals - Students entering 1st grade
- STEM & Literacy Camp - Students entering 2nd - 5th grades
- Camp Description: Designed for elementary students, focusing on hands-on activities to foster engagement in science, technology, engineering, and math
- Summer Scholars Camp - Students entering 2nd - 5th grades
Camp Description: Provides literacy and math enrichment for students, often featuring comprehensive instruction in phonemic awareness, writing, and social-emotional learning
- RISE Summer Camp - Students entering 6th - 8th grades
Students will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack daily.
Transportation will be provided to families that reside within the South Lake boundaries. Transportation will be offered in the morning before school and after the program ends at 4:30pm.
